Raiders boost pass rush with DE Edwards
The Oakland Raiders signed defensive end Kalimba Edwards to a two-year contract on Friday as they try to improve their pass rush for next season. Reiterating that he is leaning toward not coming back, Jonathan Ogden said the Ravens ‘know to proceed with their offseason plans as if I’m retiring.’

Ogden, an 11-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle, has contemplated retirement since last offseason because of a hyperextended big toe. He didn’t play in the Pro Bowl this year because of the injury. The Ravens likely need a decision from Ogden before the NFL draft at the end of April.

‘I have not officially retired,’ Ogden told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. ‘So if I come back, it’s great, they said, but they’re proceeding as if I’m not.’ Read more
