Superbowl betting for most gamblers involves looking at the side but that is starting to change. More gamblers are giving the total a look and proposition (props) get more popular every year. As you look at the Superbowl odds there are a few things to keep in mind.

First, if you are looking at the side or the total in Superbowl betting keep in mind that the odds will be higher than normal on the favorite and the over. There are two reasons for this. First, the public loves to bet favorites and over and second, the Super Bowl has historically been a high scoring game with the favorite holding its own against the Superbowl odds.

Since we know that the favorite and the over get a lot of attention in superbowl betting that should give us value on the underdog and the under. The problem with taking both of those is that historically they havent made any money. We get extra value by taking the points and the under but it doesnt mean anything in ters of wins in Superbowl betting.

A couple of other tips to consider in Superbowl betting are to consider the money line and the propositions. The money line is an interesting option that a lot of gamblers forget about in Superbowl betting. If you like the underdog, then you should play them on the money line in addition to taking the points. Only eight times in Superbowl betting history has a favorite won the game and not covered the spread. That means if you like the favorite, lay the points and if you like the dog, play them on the money line.

Dont forget to consider propositions in terms of Superbowl odds. There are literally hundreds of prop bets available for Superbowl betting. You can definitely find some that appeal to you both in terms of interest and value. Do a little research and you should find some good prop wagers in Superbowl betting.

Take a look at the many different options you have for Superbowl betting this season and enjoy the big game.

Good Luck, see you at the pay window
